People that do not raise their own crops (or livestock) visit markets to find what they need to eat. Some products are locally grown.

...and meat too!

Other products in other shops travel vast distances to arrive where they are sold. This is a distribution business.

How about a bag of Crunchips with your olives?

Ou, peut-être une boîte de Mere Poulard, les Sablés Tradition???

Both shop owners have mobile phones. One has a computer. They both speak four languages. What will these folks be able to do when they have a chance to expand their operation to a world market? We will not have to wait another generation to find out. There is change afoot.

We are traveling this week and most of next week, so we have been relying on a combination of 3G and wifi networks. We have had absolutely no problem. The cloud services and virtualizaton era of computing is certainly on the way. We might as well add mobileTV and video-conferencing to the mix.

... please fill in the blank

There are dozens of interesting videos being posted from the Mobile World Congress. The event is being held this week in Barcelona.

Do you remember that book written by Bill Gates? That was in 1995.

OK, back for the future...

Dave is on his way to San Antonio for a meeting we have tomorrow. When he popped up in Gmail Chat with the video icon on, we had to give it a try.

It is a good thing he was not driving!

During our call, the car was traveling at 70mph.

As bandwidth proliferates, the road ahead looks wide open. Good stuff!

What may seem to be in stark contrast, the name of our blog (with 655 entries including this one) and the name of our Company, actually is not. Things got started. We are here now. Where things are going is of interest to us.

200 years ago this week Charles Darwin was born. Darwin wrote On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life. In this book, he advanced his scientific theory on evolution.

Yesterday's video ought to reminded us all that there is still an Amiga Community.

Michal Schultz has proposed to port both AROS and Anubus

to our new i.MX515 based hardware

We like both Projects Michal has proposed, as well as all the others submitted.

As for AROS, what we would like to see is a few Amiga applications being proposed to leverage Michal's effort (see Matt's note). If we get this organized, we might see this particular Community growing again.
